"A great choice for a short stay in Desaru. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious with large bathrooms and balconies. Pool and beach areas are beautiful and relaxing. Good variety of food at breakfast, service in the restaurants and bars was friendly but often rather slow. Limited dining options on site and not much else in the area other than a few other hotels and the golf course."

Complimentary breakfast has lots of food options but challenging to walk a far distance and a bit hot as it is outdoors. "Tunamaya doesn’t fall in the high end group of resorts but it sufficed. We were mostly outside doing activities like fruit farms, firefly sightseeing and ATV rides. The view and proximity to the beach is wonderful and convenient. The food at the cafe and Nelayan restaurant was first-rate. "Loved that the area does not have so many people and it is so convenient to get to the beach. The swinging chairs outside the beach were so cozy especially when the tide was high at night and we could not go into the beach. The splash of waters over the walls were exciting to watch at night. Room a little small and nighttime dinner celebrations a little loud, interrupting rest time. Food was very delicious and it was beautiful to overlook the beach during breakfast."

"I think it can be improved, no wifi connection all the way during my stay there. The room cleanliness can be improved, and the breakfast food also can be improved. Overall hotel area to be improved "

"The location is far from beach which need 15 minutes drive to beach but it's nearby main road to find food so you don't need to worry midnight craving for food. The towels were smelly so better bring your own towel. Overall is house is big enough to cater a big family and relative but not suitable for small family like 3 - 5 person."
