"I travel together with my friends. On our way to the Volcano Ijen we slept here. We really loved the gym, the pool, the rooms and everything. To be honest: 10/10 points! But what we loved the most was the great staff, who took care about us. It felt like staying with a big family. Special THANKS to Mr. Angga & his team for his help & support!!!! "Base to see sights of Banyuwangi. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the Indonesian breakfast was ample. Car required for this location. There is a shop across it that does general provisions and simple meals. Also went out of their way to purchase meals from outside. The room I booked did not have the advertised mountain view, and the shower room lacked a sink. "

"This hotel has some issues. First of all, the room's back door (sliding doors opening to a shared swimming pool just outside) didn't close properly -- it wouldn't close completely, always leaving a small gap in between... imagine all the little bugs and geckos that could crawl right through (it goes without saying this was actually a security hazard). In the end I switched to the room next door, but its door was only marginally better, and overall the room (especially the bathroom) was...

A very comfortable stay

"The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel actually runs many activities for guests such as cooking classes, snorkel trips, and massages. We tried a bunch of the activities and they were highly entertaining. The hotel's restaurant is excellent, too. The property was clean and beautiful, and was located in a quiet but serene area with nice views of Java's mountains. A great launching point to enjoy Menjangan."

"The Plataran Menjangan provides an oasis of peace and serenity. I loved being away in the bush, but in such a luxurious bungallow, and seeing so many amazing animals. Staying here for 5 nights was such a treat and a great way to recharge myself after a really stressful period. A truly magical place"

Lovely hotel

"We spent 4 very enjoyable nights at Nusa Bay. The snorkeling from the jetty is great. The food in the restaurant is good (and there is a vegetarian menu available but ask for it as it wasn't offered to me until our 3rd day) Staff are all really lovely and very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again."
