"Needs refurbishment. Central air results in rooms with little control. No elevator but many narrow stairs, no porter to help w bags on check in. Room light controls are beyond understanding. Great breakfast, bistro food was good. Grounds v nice. Staff tries hard, but the facility makes their jobs more challenging."

"Very convenient in the centre of the town. Hotel is quite shabby and could definitely benefit from an update. Upholstery worn on chairs and carpets are well worn in all the public areas and the paintwork is badly in need of redecorating. However the bedrooms were clean and adequate, the staff were lovely and really helpful. We ate our evening meal for 3 nights in the dining room and the food was delicious and service was really good. Breakfast was also really good. Would recommend ."
