"The side street this hotel was located on was a bit sketchy, but very close to the main road. Staff and the quality of the hotel was great- definitely geared toward an under 45 crowd. Rooftop pool was unavailable due to maintenance which was a bummer. There was a considerable amount of mold in the bathroom of my ‘box’- around the base of the shower and in behind the sink. "Torel Avantgarde was the perfect place for our trip to Porto. "The hotel was in a fantastic location right across from a metro stop, and a short walk to all the sights. The room was clean and excellent value for money. There were a few issues with the sink and shower not draining properly making them a bit hard to use, and there was a bit of road noise and noise from other guests as our room was right by the lift and at the front of the hotel by the road. Overall, a comfortable and clean hotel, I would recommend! "

"The hotel is well located, very close to Centro Historico. It’s easy to get there from the airport by metro or by taxi. It’s very clean, the staff is extremely helpful. The beds are big and pretty comfortable. Room service is doing magnificent job. I would definitely stay here again. "
