"Brand new clean functional and very comfortable room. Spacious comfortable public areas in hotel. Excellent healthy breakfast. Very friendly welcoming manager. I enjoyed a nightly supper in the restaurant- - food was excellent and reasonably priced. Convenient shuttle bus to and from the slopes with bus stop 1 minute from the hotel. The slopes are walkable - - probably 8-10 minutes but I preferred the shuttle bus given my age. The skiing at Crans-Montana was excellent. Overall a wonderful stay....

"This is a true Swiss lodge at nearly the top of nowhere. The staff is friendly but it helps to have a little German or French. Be sure you specify exactly what you want in a room..like a shower AND toilet, or you may be sharing. You need to be fit enough to walk up to 4 flights with all your stuff.
