"So far the best hotel we have stayed at in Scotland. The room was far above our expectations. The bathroom has a roman tub, a shower, dual sinks. Water pressure was excellent. The bed had a very tall and stylish headboard. The closet was very deceiving. It revealed a huge room with a vanity and a mirror. The food was excellent. Despite the restaurant being so busy, the staff went out of their way to find us a table. The staff is the jewel crown. We will stay here the next time we are in town. "

"Cosy 2-bedroom apartment. Clean and well equipped with kitchenette, washer and dryer. Good for family stay. About 8 mins walk to St James Quarter where the parking is. Entry to the apartment building is in a back alley. While it’s well lit, the occasional noise from the garbage bins can be disturbing in the night. Overall, still good."

"Loved Edinburgh of course, Chisholm Hunter Suites are excellent, would have been good to spend a lazy day inside but too much to do and see. Couldn't get a late check-out which would have been very helpful, but had luggage storage at the office nearby, and light rail to airport just outside."

"Good location, clean and comfortable space, well equipped apartment, plenty of good food sources of all sorts within easy reach - we enjoyed our stay. There are imperfections, of course! Quite noisy - we were on the 2nd floor but were still woken by the street cleaning truck. Don't book if you have any mobility or balance issue: from the hidden door step to the narrow, winding, carpeted stairs, the slip-and-trip opportunities are plentiful. "Why is this not a 5* hotel? Everything was perfect about our 3 night stay. I had contacted the hotel beforehand to inform them that it was mine and my partners birthdays whilst we were there. Upon arrival we were given a free drinks voucher and a room upgrade! The staff are so friendly and polite, the food is delicious and the decor and cleanliness is second to none! "

"Big and spacious. Lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. Walkable to train station and major places of interest. One major downside is the security. When we are out, there were 2 occurences of entry. One left the living room lights on and the other cleared our trash. Chatted online with destiny and they said no unauthorised entries in their records. If there is any form of housekeeping, please let the guests know so the guests feel safer."

"A GREAT option for staying in the Old Town. Super clean hotel and rooms along with a very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and walkable to all Old Town has to offer - tours, bars, restaurants. City bus and sightseeing bus stop is a block away. "
