"Conveniently located right off US 24. Clean & quiet. Extremely friendly staff. Generous breakfast options and - as a huge bonus: the hotel offers a light evening meal with things like baked potatoes, chili, hot dogs, pasta, nachos and more. Definitely on my preferred list of places to stay when traveling in the future."

"The hotel was great however arriving after 12 hours of driving to find out Expedia had cancelled our reservation with no communication was extremely frustrating. However, the staff were able to find a room and check us in very quickly. The hotel was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again. "

"The historical nature of the property is what first drew me to this bed and breakfast. It was built by the grandson of George Washington. The saving of it and the ca1914 house next to it was a noble task and well worth the effort. A fully furnished kitchen, clean bedroom and bath with a jet tub, porch with rocking chairs, and relative proximity of downtown shops and eating made this a great choice. "

"Front desk staff person who worked evenings/afternoons was extremely pleasant and helpful. Sorry I forgot to get her name. Gave great suggestions for restaurants and was always willing to help. She even offered to get some paper plates and utensils when she saw us walk in with a pizza box."
