"Ahmed the hotel manager could not do enough for us. Everything we requested was no problem. He sent us a tour guide Mo who was excellent he was passionate about his home town Luxor and was very knowledgeable. Budget hotel with excellent staff. Would definitely recommend."

"It was situated in a quite area along with the locals and other hotels near by. The entrance to the hotel is deceptive as inside it is very big and has a large swimming pool. The team looking after the guests were absolutely friendly and helpful. The hotel food is cheap and delicious with a good selection. I would recommend this hotel for any family stay."

"We loved our 4 day stay here. Definitely different from the run of the mill Western style hotels, only minutes away from the Nile..Way more peaceful than the east bank situated in a very friendly village. The management and staff were amazingly helpful and kind. The restaurant was great, we never even bothered eating anywhere else. "

"This hotel is new and modern and the staff is extremely kind and friendly. It is in an ideal location and very near to the Valley of the Kings and Queens as well as Hatshepsut temple. The hot air balloons lift off can be send from our hotel verandah. The food from the restaurant was drlicious. Me and my family had an awesome experience. "

"This hotel is a gem. We were immediately greeted by the owner of this majestically built modern palace. Overlooking the grand river Nile, and the city of Luxor, we were treated to an amazing venue with great rooms, including a balcony and large vaulted ceilings, you are truly treated like royalty. "Quality place to stay. Breakfast was great and we ate once in the Italian restaurant which was also very nice. For breakfast aim to get a spot on the balcony and enjoy some views of the Nile. The hotel partners with Nasco for their tours (i.e. Valley of the Kings) and they were really helpful. A little more expensive than some other operators but always felt like we were in solid hands, which wasn't the case when reading some reviews of other operators."

"Our stay at Amon Hotel has been really amazing and quite memorable. From the service we received, the friendliness and welcoming of the staff, and the beautiful rooms and courtyard making our stay one of the most memorable and lovely times since we’ve been in Egypt. We also really enjoyed the food that was prepared (breakfast and dinner), making it very easy and convenient to have a meal without having to leave the hotel. The cost of the hotel for us was very reasonable. The staff were really nice and helpful. We highly recommend this lovely gem of a hotel for anyone staying in Luxor. It’s a ways out from all of the bigger and busier areas making our stay that much more relaxing and pleasant. Thank you for an amazing experience!"
