Spacious cabins, wonderful sundeck, excellent food, smooth cruising, small capacity relative to other boats and service oriented staff made for a very enjoyable time. At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. Glad I did, Hamad our guide was outstanding and there can be delays in the cruise do to timing in the river locks which could make coordination with outside guides difficult and stressful. ...

"Hotyel was better than we expectyed, although the Front Entrance is a little confusing (you can't see it from the street). But the restaurant up on the 4th floor was outstanding! Great food, great vibe, great views! Don't miss it if you go to Luxor - one of our favorites in Egypt."

"We spent only one night in this hotel and had to leave very early so we could not enjoy the hotel as we would have liked to. But the staff was very nice, we received a basket of fruits in our room as a welcome present, the cook even made us a coffee at 6am just before we left. The view of the room is amazing, unfortunately we could not test the jacuzzi in the roof top or the pool. The only down side of the hotel is that it is not easy to find (our driver had to ask people along the way) and...

"It was situated in a quite area along with the locals and other hotels near by. The entrance to the hotel is deceptive as inside it is very big and has a large swimming pool. The team looking after the guests were absolutely friendly and helpful. The hotel food is cheap and delicious with a good selection. I would recommend this hotel for any family stay."

"Although the Amon Hotel was a wonderful little oasis in the Westside of Luxor, the lack of means to get around made it hard on a daily basis. I think if any hotels in the area had contacts they could call when guests need rides to sites, ferry, shopping etc. this would bring in more clients. The staff were great."
