"The location is excellent to visit the tourist sites like Pao de Azucar and Christo Redentor - short rideshare trips. Loved the breakfast at the restaurant on the 1st floor.
The room we got was good for 3 of us and had a sofa bed. We stayed in this property two different times. The bathroom in the 2nd visit was not so clean, was out of body soap.

"Possibly the best hotel i stay in during visits to Rio.. lovely hotel with a great rooftop veiwing area looking out onto botafogo beach & sugar loaf mountain
Modern room although a bit on the small side, good shower , decent cable tv , good wifi
All the staff from reception , house keeping to bar area provided an excellent service "
"đșđž As an American visiting Brazil, I felt very safe and welcomed. Everyone was super nice, helpful, and friendly. The nightlife here is đ„ busy â especially since youâre right in the city center. If youâre hoping for a quiet, relaxing night, just know this area stays active late đ.
đ Youâre walking distance to popular spots like the Arches of Lapa and the SelarĂłn Steps đš, which is perfect for sightseeing. Breakfast đœïž in the mornings is nice, though it can get a little repetitive if youâre staying for a while. The staff was always accommodating and kind đ.
đïž The room itself was nice and comfortable, but the bathroom đœ felt a little dated â the toilet showed some yellowing and could use an upgrade. There were snacks đ« and drinks in the room, but theyâre pricey đž. Itâs better to grab the same things at a local supermarket đ for way cheaper.
đââïž I wish the pool and gym đïžââïž stayed open 24 hours (they close at 10 PM â°). But with Brazilâs famous beaches đïž like Flamengo, Copacabana, Ipanema, and more nearby, youâll have plenty of options to enjoy during the day đ.
Overall, itâs a fun and convenient spot if you want to be in the heart â€ïž of the action and experience Rioâs nightlife, culture, and energy âš."

"Stayed for a night to get a different experience of Rio. The villa is immaculate and rooms comfortable. Views of the city below are amazing. The staff are prompt and helpful. Booked a spa treatment which was followed by use of the glass steam room also overlooking the city below.
This villa is a converted house which is owned by a family with roots in Santa Teresa. The family was on site the day we stayed and were super friendly when they approached us. "
