"This is a great place to stay while visiting Portland. I am fortunate that my son lives there for transportation needs. The property had a shuttle for the airport and was not a walkable place to get to the public transportation. It is very clean, a bit worn, but very clean. I was impressed with the staff. "I popped down to Portland for a quick bit of Christmas shopping and was glad to have booked this hotel. With a bed so comfortable that I slept through my alarm for the first time in a very long time and super easy check in/check out/digital key for handling all while on the go, perfect spot. "We stayed there for a cheer competition and it was nice that the hotel was right across the street. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. Our view was a bit trashy due to Portlands finest homeless population but I still felt safe and able to walk around the area to get food. "

"This property has been renovated over the past year or so to match other Holiday Inn Express hotels (formerly Oxford Suites). Rooms are modern and clean, though a few things have not been replaced (doors, mini fridges, stairway carpet, elevator flooring, etc.). I received a good rate for this 2-night visit. Overall, i recommend Holiday Inn Express Gladstone, though the entry carpets need attention (stained, need regular vacumming) as well as a few other common areas. "

Not Fancy But Perfect For My Needs

"Exactly what I was looking for, a decent place to lay my head at night after spending time with family during the day. It was very clean, very quiet (no loud footsteps or running in the hallways), and the staff, both front desk & housekeeping, were friendly and helpful. My mom stayed with me; she is in her mid-70’s and she slept well and had no complaints. "
