Like taking a ride in a vintage Rolls-Royce.

"During the early 80s, when I was a young man, I worked as a parking attendant at various country clubs, and ritzy galas. during that time, I got to drive many high-end luxury cars. I was always amazed at the quality and workmanship of the materials used in conjunction with the weighed switchgear. The Maritime Hotel had a similar vibe. The staff, from the doormen to the front desk, to the cleaning staff, made me feel like we were being taken care of by a butler or valet. The lobby cocooned us in its leather and velour chairs flanked by a crackling fireplace, surrounded by enough books to make you think you're in a library. My cabin was of high-quality vintage decor that worked flawlessly. It was amazing that even the elevators always seemed to be there when needed. My stay was for only two days, and had it not been for work issues, I'd have definitely extended it. The hotel is well situated tin the Chelsea area of Manhattan. Close to the Highline and other attractions. The only thing lacking from this great experience was a hot complimentary breakfast. Everything else was flawless, otherwise."
