"Wonderful room, stone built, very rustic. We loved it! It is located in a quiet area, sea is close. Restaurants and supermarkets are closeby, and we had an amazing sunset view. We highly recommend the property. Maria, the property manager has been very helpful and the communication was excellent. Thank you!"

"Really lovely building & environment & the room was lovely & very clean The shower had very good pressure but too small & cramped and I kept knocking the lever by accident which either changed the temperature or switched it off. On arrival there was sparkling wine left, delicious pistachio cake & two nectarines left. Nespresso machine with very nice strong coffee but you only got 2 pods free (so one coffee each) each day, not the most generous. Free water left in the room every day though and...

"Really nice small hotel.The place was very clean ,nice room ,modern bathroom. The pool area was fantastic, very well kept, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, nice snack bar offering food and drinks. "Although we had a great stay at Mitsis selection Laguna when booking this I booked a bungalow sea view , i felt I was cheated on the room rate because we ended up with a garden view / children play area , and looked nothing like what was advertised on the website . We queried this at reception which we were offered another room but to another garden view so it wasn’t worth the upheaval of our belongings but the receptionist took a contact number if an upgrade became available he would call us. Never got a call . At the end of our holiday we learnt that another couple got a free upgrade to a bungalow sea view with Jazzi because they weren’t happy with their view either so I was really disappointed that the cost of garden view room rate is less than what we paid for . apart from this we can’t fault the hotel , all staff were lovely and attentive food and drinks were great too "

Royal & Imperial Belvedere Resort - All inclusive

5/5 Excellent

"Just had 5 nights at this hotel (late October) and it was wonderful. Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc). Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport. Deserves every one of it's 4 stars."

"Lovely hotel, main pool quite busy but the private beach was amazing with great beach bar and chilled music. We avoided the buffet and had incredible food at both the Cretan restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the Italian for dinner. Charming staff, just needs a minor rethink in bathroom as shower was narrow due to placement of soap holder. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend and return "

"The hotel complex was well maintained with clean and clear pathways. The buildings and rooms were modern though showed some signs of wear and tear, but all facilities worked to the level expected. Our room was lovely, actually a suite, with a personal pool which was wonderful. Food options were plentiful and varied at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were all polite and helpful and friendly."
