"This is a great hotel. It's welcoming and clean. I am very comfortable and have stayed many, many times. My only problem is, I asked for a room with a pool view, but when I got there, I didn't get it. Still, it's always a nice stay. "

"Lovely cave hotel right in the old town of Matera. Our room was big and very clean. Don’t forget to book a slot in the spa, the spa was lovely after a day exploring Matera. "
"A very charming place to stay that provides up level service. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone is courteous. They gave us a nice guidance on how to explore better Matera and also nice restaurants recommendations."

Parking is free and easy to find. The hotel picks you up and takes you into the city.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. On the day of our departure we needed to leave very early and they had a full breakfast ready for us and gave us a ride back to our car with no problem at all.
The location at the edge of the cliff is absolutely stunning and the views are unparalleled.
The rooms themselves are unique and very well appointed. The bathroom in our room needs to be repainted and the loft where the kids slept got very hot. But other than that we can't find a single fault with this lovely spot in a beautiful city!
