Aberdeen Airport is located just seven miles northwest of the city. On landing, a range of transport options are on offer.
Aberdeen and Stagecoach Bluebird both provide buses from the airport to the city, but these services do run less frequently at night and on weekends.
To take the train into the city you’ll need to jump on the connecting coach service that links the airport to Dyce Railway Station. From here direct trains run to Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow, as well as Aberdeen and many other destinations.
Taxis and car hire are also available at the airport. You can expect to pay around £15 for the 25-minute drive into Aberdeen. If you hire a car it’s an easy drive on the A96 Inverness-Aberdeen road to the city – and you’ll be free to explore the rugged, countryside and tranquil waterways that surround Aberdeen.
