"I booked this because there is washer and dryer at 50ntd per use of washer or dryer. It is not exactly near Taichung station, but less than 10min walk. Check in and out is fast and easy at the front counter. Mineral water is provided. The room is relatively clean. There are a few eateries, family mart, etc around the area, so it is quite convenient. Most importantly, it is not expensive. It is value for money. "

"One of the best Hotel we stayed on this trip. Breakfast was the best part. Hotel is clean but old, but workers are nice. Even when I don't speak mandarin, we were able to communicate via google translate. Free laundry service which was a plus. Ice cream in the lobby, Tea eggs were a hit. When I was waiting for cloths to wash and dry, I was able to sneak in an egg or 2 plus the snacks and drinks available until mid-night. "

"If you are 6 feet or taller, you won’t be able to shower comfortably. I’m 6’3” and my shoulders were an inch from the shower ceiling. Staff were helpful and super nice, especially with a last minute reservation. There was no hand soap, so I had to use shower gel to wash my hands. The mattress was very hard and thin. I could feel every spring, so I woke a few times during the night. Figuring out the AC was fun, if you can’t read Chinese characters, make sure to use Google...
