"Great location, walkable distance to many famous landmarks: Taichung Train Station, Miyahara store, Taichung City Hall. It is close to lots of good eateries, restaurants, and milk tea stores. At the corner, there is a bakery that we highly recommend; it has excellent sandwiches and is always crowded. The reception staff is very helpful. "One of the best Hotel we stayed on this trip. Breakfast was the best part. Hotel is clean but old, but workers are nice. Even when I don't speak mandarin, we were able to communicate via google translate. Free laundry service which was a plus. Ice cream in the lobby, Tea eggs were a hit. When I was waiting for cloths to wash and dry, I was able to sneak in an egg or 2 plus the snacks and drinks available until mid-night. "

"Great value for price and location being right beside Taichung's main train station with easy access to other transport (ex. to Taipei HSR station, Sun Moon Lake, UBike station). Room also had good view of the nearby plaza beside the train station.
