"The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great."

"Fae and Marcos are welcoming and did everything to ensure we got the best from our stay. Our room was large, with a fabulous view, the bathroom very large. All done with antique furniture and art old and new on the walls. The lovely cosy lounge with a warming fire was a great place to relax with a tot of whisky kindly offered by Marcus. You could wander around the garden or walk down to the river. Breakfast was superb and cooked to order. A perfect place to base our holiday."

The location itself is picturesque, with sweeping views of the sea and a tranquil hillside dotted with sheep. Breakfast at Ardoran House is generous and expertly prepared, with dishes cooked to order using fresh ingredients. The quality and abundance of the morning meal leave a strong impression. With its beautiful setting, exceptional hospitality, and meticulous comfort, the Ardoran House Bed & Breakfast stands out as a truly special place to stay."

"Had a wonderful stay here. Accommodations were great and location perfect. We left a few things behind and they contacted us right away so we were able to retrieve them before we left the island. Food was great as well. Would recommend if you plan to visit the Isle of Mull which is stunning."

"We stayed 2 days and it was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The large drawing room that overlooks Loch Melfort was also available for us to use which we enjoyed. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner on the evening of our arrival prepared and served by our host Mathew. This was our first visit to Melfort House and hopefully we will be back again soon."
