"It was for our wedding anniversary, love Canterbury and was our first visit to the hotel. Beautiful place, shame we had scaffolding at the back of us, which we looked on to, really rattled and the plastic was flying around due to the high winds."

"We liked it but 1st night and all the next day untill 630 pm we had no heating reported it at 9am took constant times of asking by my husband then was given a hot air blower that was fine soon warmed up"

"Amazing hotel full of history. Gorgeous clean room and a bath to die for. Will definitely be back. The young lad on reception that looked after us was fantastic. He even came to find us when our room was ready early. A very old building full of character and squeaky floorboards but that just added to its charm. "

Food was excellent with large choice at reasonable prices & breakfast was just as good as the dinners. Conveniently located for coastal resorts such as Broadstairs & Herne Bay. Recommend The Evenhill for a relaxing break."
