"We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I especially enjoyed the breakfast – a good variety of fresh options to start the day right. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay. Would definitely return!"
"I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. I liked the convenience of the open clothes rack and the room set up. I liked the size of the vanity and its position outside the bathroom. Perfect for getting ready in the morning. The fridge was more than the usual small room fridge. It was a very comfortable stay. "
The Insignia Hotel, Sarnia, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Not officially 4★ but LOOKS & FEELS like one – modern, crisp, calming. QUIET ROOMS / COMFY BEDS / SOFT CLEAN SHEETS. Service was EXCELLENT – staff clearly take pride in their work. BEST SURPRISE → TWO ELECTRIC SAUNAS right beside the pool + hot tub (not even mentioned online!) + a GAMES ROOM with a pool table we found last minute. FOOD = SHOCKINGLY REASONABLE for a Marriott (maybe that’s Sarnia). Had a tasty EGGS BENEDICT – slightly overcooked but I didn’t specify, so fair enough. Tiny hiccup → some OLD MENUS with prices off by $1, but no big deal when everything else was this good. BONUS → RELAXING 1PM LATE CHECKOUT. PRICE? Just $140 CAD/night – an absolute STEAL compared to what you’d pay north of Toronto for something far less nice. AREA HIGHLIGHTS → soft-sand BEACH, FREE downtown ART GALLERY, quirky little OIL MUSEUM. ALL IN ALL → FANTASTIC, AFFORDABLE GETAWAY from Toronto – already planning to return!"
"Staff was friendly, one bedroom suite was spacious and clean. Our room was right infront of the elevator and thankfully we didnt hear anyone outside of our door. Minor issue is their toilet paper really sucks. The restaurant attached is nice and breakfast was good."
"The hotel was surprisingly very modern and updated. The staff were so friendly!
The only thing I would change would be the air conditioner. It is very noisy when it turns on. Definitely needs to be looked at/replaced. But it does cool down the room significantly when it’s on. Over all I would come back when needing to stay the night in Sarnia. "
