We only stayed there one day after a few days near Old Town, and although we had some rain the walk up to An Bang beach along the sand was nice (approx 3km). We also walked to dinner at a local restaurant called Mate's restaurant, which I also recommend for a quality fresh meal. "

"The Wyndham Garden Hoi An is a lovely hotel with exceptional staff. The hotel offers lovely rooms and is close to the sea. However, Marriott is currently building a massive new hotel across the road from the hotel which both obstructs the sea view and generates a lot of noise during the day. Even the local beach is a construction site. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to an excellent local beach club but consider booking a river side room. The beach at the beach club is epic.
