Suitable for all ages, Cabo Dolphins offers visitors a chance to observe and interact with dolphins at their marine centre. Learn about the history, anatomy and physiology of these remarkable marine mammals, watch them perform tricks and learn the hand signals that trainers use during the performances. You can swim with the dolphins in the water, and help staff feed them too.
There are special programmes for visitors who can’t swim who still want to get in the water with the dolphins. All of the programmes on offer at Los Cabos are fun, educational and very hands-on.
You can learn how to be a dolphin trainer for the day, and working alongside the park rangers you will learn how to take care of them and feed them, and discover the special hand signals used to train them.
It’s important to book ahead not only to ensure your place on the programmes, but also to check the schedules, as they which all run on different dates. Booking at least two days in advance will give you a discount on the final price. Remember to wear biodegradable sunscreen to protect the dolphins and their environment and don’t wear any jewellery to the marine park.
Cabo Dolphins operates as part of the local tour operator Cabo Adventures, meaning it’s worth combining your dolphin day with another of the many activities that the company offers. These include camel safaris, zip-lining, mountain-biking, trekking and scuba diving. Round off your day with a boat trip out to the ocean to watch the whales.
