Wonderful stay here! Well located, easy to get around and about a 5 minute walk to the metro station. Our room was huge, double, even triple the size of other hotels we have stayed in in Korea and Japan. Everything was clean, the only thing was that some of the towels had holes in so could do with being replaced! Room was quiet and has AC too. Beds firm but comfy and we slept well. Staff were fantastic, very kind and helpful. We will stay here again next time we come to Busan.
We stayed at Hotel Marcher for 4 nights in the last week of Jan 2024. We felt very at home at the hotel. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful all through our stay. We felt like we had family looking after us. Housekeeping does a great job and I must thank you for the bidet that keeps the seat warm. The hotel and its rooms were all well maintained, designed and intentionally decorated. We will miss staying here, thank you for your hospitality.
It was a nice stay, with friendly and helpful staff. Able to communicate in limited English with us, through translator app. Response to service requests were prompt. Room was cosy and the toilet is clean. Location is good as it's right beside the BIFF area and various markets.
Likely the best location when staying in Busan! Walkability to food stalls and the night market made it easy for our group of 6 to lounge around without having a strict itinerary (or car). Front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful in providing suggestions for food and directions to the beach. Of note, room keys are specific to each room and incur a $200 replacement fee
The hotel is a great addition to the Nampo area. It’s close to all
The sights to see around the area and close to Airport bus and subway.
The only two minor issues as a visitor from USA was the towels are very small and the mattress very firm. Both of which you’ll get used to.
The rooms are very large and the bath tub is bigger than most tubs in the USA.
But the best part of this hotel is the front desk staff who will go out of their way to take care of their guests.
We stayed on 7th floor. Nice patio. Housekeeping was great. Front desk can't speak so much English but they are warm people. Simple breakfast is free. Coffee you can drink anytime. There is a lift between exit 3 and exit 5 of Jagalchi station. BIFF is within 8 minute walk. Go there for Ssiat Hotteok. Bupyeong market is just behind the hotel. Go there for Geoin Chicken.
Hotel Marcher was a gem.
Staff were very sincere. We arrived in the cold and the 2 ladies at front desks reminded me of how mums would welcome their kids back, after a long journey. They made us so welcome.
The room was simple, clean and neat. it had all we need. The bathroom was wonderful with a tub and very useful toilet seat, which gave warm seat in the cold weather.
It wasn't next to the subway but could walk to in 3 to 5 mins. It's in front of a huge market with food. We settled our short meals everyday.
There's a stall that sells the best hottaek in the night after 8pm. It's one of those stall s set up in the middle during the night.
Check in and out were very easy.
Love this place!
The room is spacious and clean. it is about 8 mins walk from the train station. Breakfast is very simple, only has bread, soup, egg, cereal, coffee and tea.
great location with plenty of good eats surrounding the hotel and attractions within walking distance. Excellent staff that are always pleasant and genuinely willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Breakfast is limited but it’s included in the price so nothing to complain about.
1.) First day of cleaning of room wasnt done! Reasons ( cos we had card insert in room) and offers a upgrade for a clean room..but after looking at the room the offer wasnt any upgrade more like a downgraded room wasnt as spacious as what we had. Was a disappointment. End up we waited till 1am after we got our room clean up and go back again with all our luggage.
2.)Breakfast was told from 0700 to 0930 when we got down at 0730 been told it was not ready. And the next day we ring up the front desk to check again what time the breakfast till...was told 0930, we got down at 0920 to our surprise everything has been clear...it was a super basic and easy breakfast setting they have which only takes them 10min to clear up... the breakfast was a disappointment as well...its been so clear when a guest called u should know better they are coming for the breakfast...
3.) Room light couldn't turn off on the 4th night which makes us lost our sleeps as the light was just right above the bed...called the front desk he came up to look even try to reset the board still its not working. Everything got turn off only the main light above us wont turn off till early morning it got turn off after we try once again. As so we request for a late check out from ya hotel manager (korean lady) instead of doing some services recovery she trying to push the blame on us. And only allows a 45min of late check out and giving me a rude face. Which i dont think any guest should be treated this way.. and
