"When we arrived our original accommodation was no longer available due to essential work going on. Hotel upgraded us to a de luxe room with lake view, and gave us 7 days of full English breakfasts, all at no extra charge. Excellent staff! Friendly and approachable. "Was left over chinese takeaway in fridge. Bed sheets were disgusting, lots of hairs and stains. Cups were unwashed. Decking was so slippy, green molud, nearly had a bad fall. Fold away chairs in main bedroom which seems to be from outside had spider nets. We came home after being there few hours and was meant to stay 4 nights. We were so disappointed, angry, deflated as saved up our hard earned cash for our 4 nights away and ended us coming home before we should have. "

"The property is right on a very busy main road, the main bedroom is at the front so traffic noise is an issue. The curtains aren’t blackout curtains so street lights are an issue and one being faulty and strobing intermittently didn’t help. The exterior of the front could definitely do with some tlc as well.
