"Fabulous place to stay, all of the staff that we met were, happy, helpful and content. Our only disappointment was that 20% service charge is added to everything that you purchase, especially harsh in the pub when it's over £10 for a pint of beer and a packet of nuts, don't mind paying that fee in the restaurant where you are served at the table. But for pouring a glass of wine or pulling a pint of beer NO, NOT ON."

"The photo is taken from the back garden so the front looks nothing like expected. The location is lovely but the house itself needs modernisation. It was relatively clean but smelt a bit musty. Not the worst place I have stayed but it was like staying with your nan in the 1970's. The host was pleasant but a little eccentric. "

"Quaint cottage and staff were polite. The room we stayed in was nice and bright. There was a very bad damp problem in the en suite especially above the shower, not just on the ceiling but the shower sealant was all black and the bottom of the shower door had not even been cleaned of all the mould. The shower was very powerful and water hot. Skirting of the bedroom was missing exposing the gap between floor and ceiling. Although there was radiator heating the thermostat was loose and difficult...

"We loved this place, after a lot of stress we wanted to find somewhere special to take our minds off of it all and here was a fantastic find! The spa, staff, food, location absolutely brilliant! Highly recommend and they upgraded us which was a treat (Thank you). It is a really special place and sometimes the deers flock at the front which was very pretty!"
