"I treated my mom to a weekend away at New Forest last weekend and we stayed at Cottage Lodge Hotel - the room was amazing, super clean and fantastically maintained. The hosts were super sweet and kind. The breakfast was exceptional!! A lot of information for routes around the forest and information for the village and nearby towns. We both look forward to returning back - I really can’t recommend this place enough. We loved absolutely everything!"

"We loved this place, after a lot of stress we wanted to find somewhere special to take our minds off of it all and here was a fantastic find! The spa, staff, food, location absolutely brilliant! "The photo is taken from the back garden so the front looks nothing like expected. The location is lovely but the house itself needs modernisation. It was relatively clean but smelt a bit musty. Not the worst place I have stayed but it was like staying with your nan in the 1970's. The host was pleasant but a little eccentric. "

"Quaint cottage and staff were polite. The room we stayed in was nice and bright. There was a very bad damp problem in the en suite especially above the shower, not just on the ceiling but the shower sealant was all black and the bottom of the shower door had not even been cleaned of all the mould. The shower was very powerful and water hot. Skirting of the bedroom was missing exposing the gap between floor and ceiling. Although there was radiator heating the thermostat was loose and difficult...

The spa is well worth a visit one of the best we have tried in recent months and the staff 1st class. Plenty of car parking but the reception forgot to make a note of my registration apart from that highly recommended. R Bristol"
