"Lovely oasis in Ballsbridge area of Dublin. Lots of traffic in Dublin, so it took 20-30 minutes to get anywhere near Dublin City center, but Ubers and taxis were plentiful. The spa services and pool area were amazing and unique, and a welcome respite from all the walking and cold weather. Food was good. Service was friendly and attentive, and Afternoon Tea was fabulous. "If there's a better, more welcoming and relaxing hotel in Dublin, I've not heard of it. The Marker was simply wonderful and it's primarily due to the people. Derek, Michelle, and so many others made us feel appreciated and welcomed with great service and even better conversations! The room was fantastic. The food was delicious. The bartender made great drinks. I honestly can't think of a better place!"

"Stayed 5 days after Christmas and over New Year holiday. Everything was top notch. Room was a bit on smaller side, but appointments and cleanliness were exceptional. Excellent friendly service. Neat to stay in such a historical building. The breakfast each morning was spectacular. Beds are luxurious. Great quiet location a block or two off St. Stephens Green and right in the middle of everything. Look forward to returning in a few months. "

"It was my second time staying here. If you love beautiful spaces, art, amazing food then this is your place. About a 15 min walk to Grafton and Temple bar areas. Has great pubs and restaurants only a 5-10 min walk away. Highly recommend! "

"This was our first time staying at the Clayton Ballsbridge. The buildings architecture is stunning. We enjoyed our stay - the room was comfortable and quiet. The lower lounge area was beautiful and the restaurant was nicely set up. The staff were helpful and polite."

The Sandymount Hotel

"Went to watch a game at the Aviva and after a lot of research chose The Sandymount based on reviews and its location. Can safely say we were so glad we did. Easy to get to from the airport and only a stone’s throw from the stadium. From the moment we approached the hotel we just knew we made the right choice. Outside was very clean and that theme continued into the hotel. Everything was immaculate and the welcome very warm. All staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The room itself was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was epic! After the game we walked around the area and there are loads of good places to eat and drink. We like the Ballsbridge/Sandymount area of Dublin as it’s a bit out of town (20 min walk) but still plenty of places to eat and drink. The Dart is only a 2 min walk from The Sandymount Hotel so makes getting in and out of the town centre even easier! This was our 6th visit to Dublin and our 1st stay at The Sandymount but certainly won’t be our last. We can’t wait to go back to stay. Would highly recommend to all. "
