"We loved our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. We got in later than check in and Mark the owner still came to greet us and help us with our bags. He was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the black bear hut and it was everything we needed! Definitely small, but we were expecting it to be, and if anything it added to the coziness! The owners thought of everything from snacks, tea, coffee, fresh towels, you name it. "We were made welcome. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of parking. Although we were not offered any meals at the hotel, the town offers places to eat. The hotel appears to be under new management who are keen to make it a success. From the outside, the hotel is in need of some TLC and we found this off-putting at first. The entrance area was also rather dated. Overall, we were happy with this hotel. "

"Hotel staff was very helpful and very accommodating, we arrived very late and we picked up a meal from outside, the staff arranged a seating in the breakfast bar for us right away, very helpful this was. The room was very clean and also the beds spotless. At the time of visit, NewYear an eve we got the hotel for £62 for a family room, every where else was several hundreds. With this in mind you get what you pay for but we got a family run business that I would recommend no problem. Thank you...
