"Wengen is a wonderful home base for exploring the area, you are closer to Jungfrau to get there early before the crowds. We loved the nearby restaurants. The Mannlichen gondola is incredible, a must-do when staying in Wengen. The staff were professional and the breakfast was superb. Our bed was quite comfortable. The hotel is just across from the train station, so an easy walk. We would stay there again."

"Stayed in room number 21 which was the room Sean Connery used when the cast stayed at the hotel whist filming Goldfinger. Lovely room with great decor. A pleasure and privilege to use it. Friend arranged without my knowledge for a dry Martini ( shaken not stirred) to be delivered to the room for which the management did not charge my friend for. A lovely gesture by both parties. I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anybody."
