"We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting...

"The hotel was a good location for us as a base. 2 minutes drive down to the beach and lifeboat station or about 15/20 minutes walk. Nice to walk along the beach path in the evening. Local convenience store on the way. Evening meal was lovely and the breakfast choice and quality was superb. Nice bar and restaurant area with lovely ambiance in the evening. Stayed midweek and was very peaceful at night. Friendly welcome and all staff were lovely and gave good service. Car park is big enough even...

"The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes"

"I had the pleasure of staying at Parterre Self Catering Apartments 28 years ago, and I was delighted to see that the apartments have been significantly upgraded since then. They were exceptionally clean, and the hosts left a lovely surprise gift for us upon our arrival. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I would highly recommend Parterre Self Catering Apartments to anyone. The apartments have everything you could possibly need, and they are conveniently located near the beach and local shops on the high street."
