Short distance to beach, town and attractions. Lovely building not in best condition but totally understandable and still good . Helpful and very kind staff. Beautiful view .
Itvwas our first time to the island and it couldnt have been a more perfect location, 2 minute walk to the beach.
Staff were warm, friendly and very helpful.
Room was a nice size and breakfast was lovely.
Can't wait to come back next summer.
Our stay was perfect, room was very good quality, breakfast was good and had a vegan option. The staff were very helpful, everyone from the chef, reception staff to the bar. Would stay again.
Hotel was good and clean and staff were helpful and very friendly and make you feel a great welcome.

Reasonably priced, rooms basic but all the staff were so friendly and welcoming we loved it. It is a steep walk to the seafront and the beach lift closes at 1800hrs so worth bearing in mind.
We had a lovely welcome by friendly staff. Perfect location with an amazing view. Breakfast was excellent. Reasonably priced! Also dog friendly which was very important to us! Lovely stay, would recommend!
Good location, staff amazing
And hotel very clean, needs a bit refreshment though
However food a bit disappointing, overcooked and oily, no big choice if you don’t like english breakfast
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay
Hotel was clean, well situated, close to amenities, staff were amongst the most friendly I have ever encountered. Going back in September. That says it all.
Where do we start, from arrival the staff, from mangemenrf all the way to housekeepoing, were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were above clean. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very nicely presented. We will definitely be staying there again soon
No WiFi but staff we very friendly always saying hello to my little girl

Stayed for 1 night with my partner.was greeted by Charlotte the manageress and her staff couldn’t not of been more friendly and nothing seemed to be to much trouble for them. Our room was nice and clean and had an amazing view of the bay . Will definitely be returning.
I was there early october and the island was shut down for the winter. This created a deserted melancholic atmosphere that I enjoyed very much. Staff was very helpful with my flight back.
It was my first time at the Isle of Wight and it really is a place of outstanding natural beauty.
I very much enjoyed my 6 nights there.
Check in was very fast. Showed us to our room. Explained that they would not come in to the room during our stay, unless we asked for bed change etc. Which was fine with us.
The ensuite was a bit snug, but overall great value for the price.
Good cooked breakfast every day.

Average
Average stay. Average breakfast options. For the price you pay, I would say service could be a bit better. View from the room was decent
The staff were very friendly and welcoming but unfortunately the cleanliness of the hotel let it down. The kettle in our room was dirty on the outside and a few stains on the bed sheets also the paint work on the doors around the hotel were brown where they hadn’t been cleaned. Such a shame as the staff were lovely.

Overnight in Shanklin
Hotel very clean and comfortable but basic. Was ok for an overnight. Small tv in room and plumbing a bit noisy but no big deal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good bonus with good choice.
Hotel not suitable for those with mobility issues and is situated at top of hill.
Overall pretty good value.
