Bodysgallen Hall is an exquisite country hotel with award-winning gardens, overlooked by Pydew Mountain on the rugged North Wales coast. It is owned by the National Trust and offers views across to Conwy Castle and the Creuddyn Peninsula.

The 17th century property, standing among 200 acres of stunning parkland, has recently been restored to its former glory. It is now famous for its luxury period hotel, spa and fine-dining restaurant.

Although the oldest part of Bodysgallen Hall, its five-storey tower made from pink sandstone, dates back to the late 13th Century, the house itself was built in 1620 by the Mostyn and Wynn families. Further additions to the building were added in the 18th and 19th centuries, but Bodysgallen retained a consistent style that still invokes wonder among its hotel guests today.

The 17th Battalion of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers was raised here in the First World War by Bodysgallen's occupant at the time, Colonel Henry Mostyn. An oak tree in the park to the north of the house commemorates this event.

The Bodysgallen Spa features a swimming pool, sauna, gym, treatment and therapy rooms, while a traditional Welsh afternoon tea can be enjoyed in one of the hotel's cosy public rooms. A stay at Bodysgallen is not complete without exploring the incredibly well-maintained gardens. There are also tours given by the head gardener on set dates throughout the year.

Bodysgallen Hall is situated two miles south of Llandudno and can be reached by car in just five minutes.
