"Fourth visit. Welcoming staff, spotless bed linen and towels, comfortable bed. However, the en-suite in room 1 appeared grubby. Not actually unclean, but stained and chipped shower tray and sink plug holes didn’t give the positive impression of previous visits. Disappointing."
"A lovely hotel with a few surprises. The grounds were magnificent. We had a castle room which from a historical point of view was wonderful. The wardrobe was a bonus! "

Cheers MBJ - from Australia 👍"
"Great quayside hotel - we stayed on a Sunday night and was good value with breakfast, a free drink and free parking included. Car park right beside the hotel (underneath in fact). We had a club room with great view over the Tyne. Stayed there to see Fontaines DC play in Exhibition park and hotel was an easy walk back through Newcastle city centre afterwards. Worked out cheaper than the Travelodge!"
"Hotel in great location. Not a far walk away from the city . parking was located right outside the hotel which was great . Rooms were very basic and were needing a freshen up . Bathroom wasn’t very clean and the shower was blocked and made the bathroom soaking wet . Reception staff were lovely "
"Very nice and modern hotel in the centre of Newcastle with everything on the doorstep. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the place was spotless. The breakfast option was tasty and plentiful and the dining area was clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have Worcestershire sauce as an option, it would have made all the difference!
The room was quiet (as requested) and the bed was very comfortable. It was very warm so the air conditioning was welcome. The only downside to the room was the lack of a fridge/mini bar to keep things cool which I would expect as standard. Other than that, I can’t fault this hot and would recommend it."

"This was my first time staying at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park but it certainly won't be my last. Lovely hotel, excellent gym / pool / spa facilities, plentiful parking, lovely food and drinks, lovely staff, lovely room with a huge window for lots of natural light. Highly recommended."
