"Fantastic service throughout our stay at this unique hotel. The dinner and breakfast were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The only slight negative is the size of the classic room.! A tad snug."

"Our stay at the Westgate Manor was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Hosts, Stuart and Kathryn give a very high standard of personal service to us and made our short stay memorable. The Manor offers fantastic accommodation and a truly wonderful experience with young dear in the garden in the early morning and three peacocks roaming around! We will be back. Thank you."

"The staff, the food at both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Parking is just across a quiet road. Our room however left us literally cold. Old building, 'wavy' floors, single glazed casement windows facing the prevailing - brisk - wind and an outside temperature of close to freezing. Then the heating gets switched off for the night ! Considering that this was the most expensive 'one nighter' on our recent trip, we were less than satisfied."

"After reading a review in a paper we decided to try for ourselves. The George and Dragon staff were so welcoming and friendly easy to talk to and very helpful. Our room was clean and tidy with lovely en-suite shower room , soft towels and toiletries . Breakfast and evening meal was delicious all staff made sure our dining experience was so comfortable. We shall return."

"Stunning drive in in late evening all very impressive, we ate at the hotel from the bar menu which was not offered initially until we asked for it. Our room was in the cottages, heating was off, november stay so would have expected a warm welcome. could get the TV to work despite good instructions.
