"Great hostel experience with location right on the beach. All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location was ideal for watching sunrises, getting to el yunque, exploring Fajardo and quickly accessing the vieques ferry and escaping the hoards in OSJ. It is a hostel… so bathrooms are shared and noise is expected in communal areas but even when crowded this was minimal. Easy to walk to great restaurants (strongly suggest CFood in LaPared containers…a 10min walk) and home safely"

"The room and patio were great! 5 minute walk to the beach. There is no front desk, but the service through text messaging was great, with good directions to get to the hotel, where to park, and how to access your room. The only down side was the noise from outside, with loud music from the bar on the corner, and jerks drag racing down the street into the wee hours of the morning, music blaring. "The resort is beautiful and there is a lot to do with kids of all ages. The water park and Palamino island are great days. The service was pretty poor. Our room was clean when we got there but it was not properly cleaned throughout our stay. We found glasses and mugs that were dirty in the sink were just put back in the cabinet without being cleaned. It was very busy during Presidents week so there were waits for most things. "This is a beautiful property. It is quite sprawling and requires a lot of walking or riding on the electric carts—not a problem for us. The restaurants get quite busy and may require a reservation well in advance. Also it is really popular with families with small children so be forewarned if you are not ready to be around a LOT of kids. "Great location for taking boat tours or other activities. This was only 1 out of 3 hotels I stayed at, while in Puerto Rico and it was by far the BEST. (One of the 3 hotels was even a M@riots in San Juan- so that should say a lot)"

"We stayed for 4 nights here and overall the stay was pleasant. The hosts were communicative and gave very clear instructions on check-in/check-out. The apartment had 2 bedrooms 2 baths and came with a washer/ dryer which was a huge plus. It is a quiet neighborhood. Everything was functional. They left books for reading, card games, plenty of towels and toiletries. My one and only complaint was there were ants in the kitchen and in one of the bathrooms. Couldn’t ask for more!

"We had a wonderful 5 days. My husband played golf, I walked the grounds every day. The pools were amazing and the service was attentive and concerned. We ate at all of the restaurants and can highly recommend them. The nightly entertainment in the bar was especially enjoyable. All of the musicians were top notch. We will return!"

"The Rainforest Inn is in a class all by itself. The location is convenient to El Yunque Rainforest hikes and easy to get to. The accommodations (and fresh-tasty breakfast) are first rate. You are asked for your coffee order conveniently before breakfast so you can enjoy a fresh cup before breakfast outside overloking the lush vegetation and the Atlantic. The owners greet you when you arrive with a tasty welcoming drink and get yoi settled in. A wonderful, helpful staff (shout out to Diane) that is available to answer questions, help with directions and just generally help you feel at home. A yoga room, saltwater pool and a hiking trail just outside you door. Go here. Relax. Hike. Zen Out and prepare yourself for a once in a lifetime stay. "
