"Wonderful, kind hosts. Had a great time at this hotel. I especially enjoyed the spacious room and many places to hang clothes. There was a hairdryer, no tv, private bathroom and a balcony to hang out on. Sometimes you could hear noise from outside but it’s a very quiet street overall, and we were on the ground floor so it was not a problem. Would highly recommend."

"On arrival we were greeted by Kadija who brought us tea and biscuits, went through some details about the riad, then kindly organised a guide for a private tour of the medina which was well worth doing as Abdul was great. We needed to be up early for pick up at 8am the next morning so they started breakfast a bit earlier for us. "The accommodation was excellent, with a lovely roof terrace and great breakfast. The location was great, just slightly away from the main throng of action, but easily walkable. The service was exceptional, including arranging a transfer from the airport and providing an early breakfast when I had to leave early for a trip. "We had a wonderful stay, the hotel is very clean & cozy we were at the top of the house with a small private terrace we loved it. The bathroom was small but worked fine. Breakfast was freshly made every morning The staff was friendly like family. Big Thank you to Mustafa that was a very gracious host that went above and beyond in assisting us through out our vacation. "Great location…you’re not located in the crazy part which is really nice. Walking distance to a strip of restaurants and where all the street food is located. Close taxi ride to Medina. We walked there it wasn’t too bad but we enough walking. But lots of cars to look out for The riad is little hard to find at first but it was night time and I think that’s normal in marrakesh. "We had a really lovely stay at Riad Altair. Couldn't really fault the property. Abdul was an absolute delight and such a lovely first impression, as were the whole staff who were all so friendly and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable, and the morning breakfast was tasty. They make eggs to order. I guess my 4-star rating probably comes down to value for money, as we paid close to $250 AUD a night, and I'm not quite sure it was worth that. "Beautiful property with fantastic and very friendly staff. Everyone was helpful, really friendly and happy to help. The property is a piece of art, very clean, spacious rooms and a rooftop that is an oasis of tranquility. We would return any time. We also felt safe walking from and to the property at night. However, the alley is highly frequented by mopeds and has a lot of places that barbecue on charcoal, particularly at night which leads to smoke and smells. That part of the Medina is still fairly authentic, so prepare yourself for some frenzy. Just a minor side note: If you like to sleep in, you might want to consider earplugs because the sound travels through some sections of the property and the early morning cleaning could wake you up. "

"We spent a week in this lovely place. The rooms were a little small, however very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and Moroccan style. The reception offers a nice resting place. Highlights from our stay: very friendly and helpful reception; very nice riads (two); great Moroccan breakfast (included in room fare) served on the terrace and changing every morning; a one minute walk to Jemaa El Fna market; small grocery stand a half minute away. Do not get let down by the small street to access the hotel as it does not reflect the beauty and great value of the hotel. I very strongly recommend the Riad Marraplace. "
