"Hotel is 3mins walk from the train station which was ideal as I was arriving into Omihachiman late at night. The room is clean and spacious. I booked a single room which is just next to the lift but I could not hear noise from they lift lobby. But I could hear the train if it was passing by the track next to the hotel. "If you are looking for a remote lake get away in northern Otsu this is ideal. This location suits the out door adventure types who want to be away from Otsu city. The lake was an amazing place to swim. What also would be a Great Lake side party atmosphere and relaxation with a group of friends. Amazing cleanliness despite the overall facility being quite old. "Great value for the price. Hotel staff was so helpful even though they couldn’t speak very good English, they tried their best to communicate & accommodate! Breakfast can be ordered at extra cost & sent to the room, but 825yen for 3 sets of breakfast! Great price and the food was neatly prepared for the price they charge!"

"The Blossom Hotel was so amazing. The service was incredible. We loved the atmosphere, the Onsen was very relaxing, clean, and comfortable. The snack room is awesome! We loved all the amenities. The breakfast buffet was extensive and so tasty. The miso soup was divine. Thank you Blossom!"

"Overall I loved my stay here! It made my visit to Kyoto so memorable and added to how much I loved the city. I cannot comment on the breakfast as none of it is gluten free but I hear it is wonderful. It was in a good place close to the trains, about a 7 min walk. I loved my stay here I just wish the pillows were softer as they are really firm but otherwise it was perfect!"
