"This is a wonderful modern hotel. The room was great, great views. Friendly staff. An awesome wellness area. Great dinners and the breakfast was amazing. They will pick you up and take you to the train station for a fee. Easy to get there by taking the gondola to Furi and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Would love to go again!!"

"This hotel is beside the Hotel Tannenhof which is the lobby you go to to check in. Hotel Alpina is the epitome of what you would expect for a swiss hotel stay. I loved everything about it. The room with a balcony, the elevator with its quirks, and the community guest area. Highly recommend taking the Matterhorn Glacier Express to get the most amazing mountain views. October also provided jaw dropping colours. For me this was a dream come true stay."

"I can't express how impressed and grateful we are for the customer service we received. They truly went above and beyond and helped us turn a bit of a disaster in our itinerary into the best time. I would recommend staying here and no where else in Zermatt. We can't speak highly enough about the front desk staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start your day. They do have a lift."

"3 min walk to the Furi lift, ski shop. 4 nice restaurants within 2-5 min walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. 15 min walk into town, or bus stop in front of the hotel (we always walked, which was lovely). Rooms were a good size. Bed was very comfy. Steam/sauna was very nice. Nice breakfast. And perfect view of the Matterhorn. "

"if you are looking for a simple room to stay at in Zermat then this is the perfect place. Everything was up to par, the room was constantly cleaned we always had fresh towels and the hotel staff will bring you a robe and slippers if asked. The ski rental is connected to the hotel therefore we did not have to walk far to rent skis which was extremely convenient. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the staff was all very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if...
