"Busy hotel but extremely quiet room. Usually you hear the corridor door slam every time someone passes through, or their footsteps on the floor. The room we had was silent! We couldn’t hear people or cars at all. We had the Superior King room and it was so lovely and spacious. The breakfast was great too!"

"We had an excellent time at Slater's and would willingly recommend a stay there to family & friends. The Staff were unfailingly helpful & friendly, and the evening meal was appreciated by all four of us. A good choice of real ales was a bonus too. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of car parking space available. The two lads were amused by the noisy and obvious sexual activity in the bathroom above Room 6. "A very quaint pub/Hotel to stay. The bedrooms are separate to the pub area so no noise. Common lounge with settee and biscuits/tea/coffee/hot chocolate all available 24 hours. Excellent full English breakfast. Staff efficient and friendly."
