"The main room was good. Great views and plenty of space to relax. The letdown was the bathroom. It was tiny with very dated fittings and nowhere to put toiletries. It was also at a higher level meaning a really big step down into the main room which was potentially a safety risk."

"We spontaneously extended our day trip and needed a place to sleep- this hotel was very clean and convenient, with plenty of extra amenities. The extra large jetted bathtub was also super clean and we were very excited to have it after our day of hiking in the sun. "We enjoyed the ryokan very much for the authenticity of old Japan. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Wearing the yutaka at the property was such a thrill for us. The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Such a contrast from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka central. "This is the best Hostel to book on any budget. Since it is also a cafe the interior is upper nice and modern looking. As in the name, the interior is all made of wood and has that amazing wood smell that makes you feel so welcomed and at peace. The boy at the counter was super helpful and great at guiding me through the check in/ check out process. "Excellent service , the staff are on their toes and always catering immediately .this Toyoko has 5 star staff welcoming u in our way in and in your way out . I had a. Roken kettle and immediately a new box and kettle was provided . They helped me switch rooms RTO a better view of the tenri temple ."

"This hotel has only one guest house, not room. The house has two bed rooms with two single bed in each. You can play piano if you wish. Big bath, small kittchen clean toilet to stay number of days with a family or friends. Food is not math produced. We have had a game (November) in Italian style for dinner. Hotel is more than 200 year old historical buirding but well maitained. Owner explains building and it's uniqe history. It was our own way from Koya-mountain to Nara by car."

"The Yamabe allows for a cheap stay at close location of Tenri JR and Kintetsu stations. The proximity of the railway may bother the ones who want a quiet stay, as the train service runs from 5 am to 11 pm. Nonetheless, the hotel staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and have all is needed. For information, toilet and washing facilities are not comprised in the rooms. Although it did not pose me any problem, this may bother some. "

"Loved my stay here. It was clean and spacious plenty of room to pack all the goodies I bought. The staff were very friendly and were able to help us with all our needs and were easy to communicate with. It was in a little quieter of a street but super close to everything you’d need including dontunburi. The breakfast was pretty good and had decent amount of choices. Really appreciated the water fountain to refill our bottles"
