"The hotel is visibly old and could do with a refurbishment. The room was spacious but primitive. The restaurant is recently overtaken by two younger chefs and is excellent. The hotel and restaurant are seperate businesses. The hotel staff was kind but forgetful. My partner is intolerant to Gluten but despite having called in advance and been reassured that glutenfree bread was available, it was still forgotten twice at breakfast and long waiting as consequence. "I had a good night staying at Anette's place, but travellers should be aware that the bathroom is shared with other guests and faces directly onto the communal area - I had to wait to use it in the morning, and then the other guest was having a long conversation right outside the door with Anette which meant I couldn't feel relaxed! But the bed, the room itself, the bathroom and the kitchen facilities were all good, as was the garden which I was able to sit in. "
