"We had a terrible experience. This property is not managed 24h. The owner comes by only when it's needed. Their check-in time is 4 pm and the owner told us the reception closes at 4:30 pm which gave us 30 min window to check-in. We had to rush to get the keys. She told us she would leave her contact information and useful links for the property to our phone and email but we never received it. She said she lives 15 min away and will come by when it's needed. We mentioned that we will have to...

"A beautiful hotel in the heart of Koutouloufari. Rooms are spacious with everything you could possiby need during your holiday, plus a bottle of wine to welcome you. The pool area isn’t huge but very pretty and never so busy you can’t find a seat or sunbed. So many brilliant places to eat and drink on the area. Perfect holiday destination."

"The an ultimate hotel for the best vacation ever!!! First of all most importantly service!!! "This was our 3rd time at the GDM Megaron and I cannot say enough great things about the hotel. Staff is courteous, helpful, always available. Hotel and rooms are clean, quiet, safe and always with immaculate attention to detail. Location couldn’t be any better relative to shopping, dining, walking, airport, seaport etc. this is and always will be my go-to location to stay in Heraklion (and we actually even have family there we could stay with for free, but just prefer to be on our own). It’s obviously a little on the expensive side but well worth it. "

"We had the most incredible stay at Village Heights Resort and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel truly special. They made our honeymoon unforgettable with thoughtful touches that made us feel celebrated and cared for. Whether it was the beautifully prepared room, the complimentary wine, we felt completely spoiled. The resort itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. It offered the perfect balance of relaxation and luxury, with breathtaking views, lovely pools, and quiet spots to unwind. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Village Heights Resort for making our honeymoon so magical! We can’t wait to return someday!"

"We arrived at the hotel and immediately they upgraded our room to a room with a private pool (very nice, but unfortunately not usable). Everything was perfect and appreciated. The food in the main room is excellent and with a wide selection, the chef is always there with a big smile. On the other hand, in the two restaurants, unfortunately, the food is not made on site, Just heats it up and serves it. It's a shame, because these are good quality products! Anyway, this is not a complaint, just sharing our feelings. We definitely recommend the place, and of course we will go back there soon!"
