"This Hotel has some very good points, like the Service of the Staff at the Front Desk. But it has a few negative points, such as the Fluorescent Light in the room, with possibility of making it 'warmer' colour. The other big problem is th Air Quality in the Hallways, and in the room. Always trying to save money can make for a difficult experience. The Buffet Breakfast is nice, but there is not enough ;change' from one day to the next."

"Easy check in and comfortable, efficient room. The hotel is 20 minutes by foot from the train station. The onsen is very nice. It is in a very quiet, safe neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dormy Inn is always a good value."

"A convenient and clean hotel near a major shopping arcade. The room was small even by Japanese standards, but it was comfortable enough and still had a full bathtub. Unusually, it had a separate toilet from the bath/shower room, and the sink was opposite the bed. I think this made the room feel a bit less small. It was also bright and quiet, so I had a comfortable stay."

"Port Uno Inn is a cool, down-to-earth spot perfect for travelers heading to Naoshima. The vibe is super chill, with a casual, backpacker feel. After a day of exploring, grabbing a beer and burger here is just what you need. Plus, almost everyone staying here is going to Naoshima, so it’s easy to swap tips and chat about the galleries. The location is ideal, right across from the ferry terminal, and the laundry facilities are a great bonus for longer trips. Ming, Long, and Takashi, who work there, are fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The breakfast is also worth mentioning—I loved the smoked salmon bagel. If you’re looking for a relaxed, friendly base to explore the area, this place is perfect."

Super close to the train station

"This hotel is super close to the JR station. We could get off a local train, rush to the hotel, pickup the stored luggages, and rush back to the station to catch another train, all in 7 minutes. The staffs there were very friendly. We booked a Japanese style tatami room. It's very comfort and practical. Overall, a very good choice."
