"Love the old charm of the building. If your looking for super fancy, this isn't the place and that's exactly what I loved about it! It was fun to explore. Shopping and food very close. Fort Clinch only about 5 minutes away. Love Fernandina. Will definitely stay again. "

"The property was in great condition and located conveniently right across the street from the beach. But the staff were the greatest asset. In a world where hospitality sometimes seems an abandoned concept, every associate we encountered was utterly delightful, from the front desk to housekeeping to the bar and even a kitchen crew member on her way home after her shift raved about her employer, unprompted and aglow with sincerity. Kudos to management at all levels for cultivating that kind of culture! I highly recommend but you’ll have to drive a short distance to the historic district shops and dining."

"The room is one of the better ones among hotels this price- good size, nice living room/kitchen, and separated bathroom/sinks. More homelike than other hotel rooms. One of the mornings, breakfast was outstanding (bacon, potatoes, egg omlets) along with waffles. Overall, everything was a moderate cut above other 3/4 star hotels. And the shuttle was very helpful. Closeness to the beach didn’t hurt either. Very satisfied. "

"We stayed 5 nights and had a great time! It’s right on the beach and there’s a pool, so we were very happy, it’s an easy quick ride downtown. The ladies at the hotel are all very nice. We would definitely return"
