"Poor service: I booked this room for my 76 yr-old father who was traveling from BC, Canada. (Nov 14, 2022) When he arrived on the property, he asked the manager/owner for use of the bathroom (after his 6-hr car ride) before checking-in. This manager yelled at him to go to some bathroom outside. He was painfully rude and demeaning. The bathroom outside was so awful, that my father came back in and asked to use a regular bathroom inside the property and again explained he is a guest that is about...

"Location: very convenient, can walk to Albert hall, city palace, Hawaii mahal etc. Also close to a lot of clothing and accessories shop Comfort: has unlimited hot water which is rare in India at this price point. Has all amenities but toilet does smell like the sewer a bit with cockroach. Environment: has nice rooftop bar with live music, but does get quite loud and room soundproofing is not great. All and all would still recommend it."

"Only manager/owner spoke english and was not very helpful with obtaining information. There was a broken electrical switch which controlled hot water heater and so the first shower I had was ice cold. I was told the hot water just takes a long time. The next day I waited for the water heater for 20 min and still no hot water. It was later discovered that the switch was broke. Wifi not in all the rooms and only in downstairs lobby. "The property was away from the hustle and bustle of the city which I liked. The room i used was quite comfortable and the view of the Jal Mahal was an added touch. I had breakfast which was great service and deliciously made to my request. The boutique jewelry store has amazing pieces to which I avialed as did my relatives. I had a wonderful stay as I did 14 yeas ago with my wife and 2 boys. It was a sentimental return for me."
