"Perfect location. Right by the beach and surrounded by restaurants and convenient stores. The oceanview room is a must have! There was a balcony directly facing the beach and the kitchen was there for us to enjoy our food while watching the beach and hear the waves. I like how there were two beds that were separated by a wall for privacy. The kitchen was fully equipped but the stove wasn't working well. I wish there were more power outlets since there was only one by the other bed. We had to unplug the refrigerator to use the outlet to charge our phone. We enjoyed our stay overall and will definitely come back."

"The property itself needs some updating here and there but the staff is awesome they have dining on the beach access to the beach chairs felt very welcoming and inviting and the hot water in both bathrooms was very hot daily housekeeping service by Janet who was awesome and the manager Arturo helped us with anything we need to help with definitely will be staying here again"

"The staff and the facilities at the Almar Resort are terrific. I was treated very well and after very little time I was recognized by most of the staff. This is a resort that caters to a specific and special crowd and everyone I encountered tried his/her/their best to make my stay very enjoyable. If you stay at this resort be prepared to for a celebratory and noisy crowd and a noisy neighborhood since many of the surrounding resorts also cater to the LGBTQ crowd. Also, prepare to be offered a sales presentation that offers special services for those who decide to join, and be prepared to pay, in advance, for dining and drink charges that you might incur during your stay. These charges are not unusual, but being forewarned is being prepared. "
