"A delight from start to finish. Great communication from staff in advance and during stay. Accommodated me in several ways because was in Schenectady for a Marathon. Beautiful, historic facility and neighborhood, very comfortable room and bed. There’s also a contemporary Woodstock atmosphere with a yoga/wellness center and, on my Saturday, a gallery with alternative health care and culture items. All in all, an unexpectedly memorable experience. Highly recommend in your traveling the region. "

"Lovely new hotel on the outskirts of Saratoga Springs. Good restaurant & bar, clean spacious rooms & a friendly staff. Still working out a few kinks but priced very well against in town locations & only 10 minutes away. Well worth a stay if you're going to explore the area. "

& surrounding building are historic. We truly fell in love with all of it!!! Dinner at Putnam’s located inside hotel was amazing. Great food. Great staff. Ate there twice. We were located on the third floor in an executive suite & it was fully renovated. It had a sitting room & 1 bedroom. Not sure what the Gideon pumps into the main lobby. But the scent...

"The people and breakfasts were wonderful. I very much liked the historical aspect of this property. The farmhouse had large rooms and many period furnishings. Looking out the window and seeing the two silos was especially enjoyable."
