"Amazing location.easy walk to the beach to grab long tail boats to Railay. Very clean and nice rooms. Convenient cheap laundry that charges by Kg right in front of the hotel. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast. "

"Great location, walking distance to the beach. A short cab to any other part of an nong. It’s set back off the main road. Seemed quieter. Nice rooftop pool and bar. Pricey drinks and food. Room was nice, the hotel appeared newer. Daily cleaning service was subpar. Friendly staff"

"The Pakasai resort was beautiful. It was in a great location. Just a short walk to Ao Nang and close to all the shops and restaurants. It had all the amenities that you could ask for and they even had room service. The only complaint was that there were no elevators. There were steps on steps on steps. Which was the case for many of the Hotels in Thailand. If you have orthopedic issues just ask for a room on the ground floor. You will love the resort. "

"We really enjoyed our trip to this hotel. We had a very nice swim up room which was ideal as it was well away from the children’s pool. The children’s pool could get very noisy. The hotel is very modern and is in a lovely position and it was easy to get to the night market and to the various boat trips that we wanted to go to from the hotel the staff were excellent. One slight criticism is that the staff kept turning the music up very loudly both at the children pool and generally. "

"Amazing hotel. We had a swim up room was definitely worth it, not much sun in the afternoon though. Food was also very good and reasonable. Staff very friendly. Rooms were very clean, great location right off the main strip. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Mr. and Mrs. S. stayed here for 11 nights. We were welcomed very nice and warm and felt like home right from the beginning. The resort and its staff is wonderful. The poolarea is great and we enjoyed many happy hours there. Special thanks must be given to the cook of the restaurant. He is understanding his job very well and we enjoyed everything he offers in the large menue. The waiters are also very kind and try to improve the overall experience. Sometimes things go a little weird and not...

"This property is clean and well maintained. Checking in took a long time and seemed a bit disorganized. The staff there are friendly and very helpful. The pool areas were good. The upper pool didn’t have enough loungers, only 6/7 while the smaller pool had about 2 dozen. They have paid attention to details in the room like flip flops, beach bag, umbrellas etc to make your stay worry free. 7-11 is a 2 minute walk where we got all our snacks and drinks. Restaurants are close and the night market...

Great for kids!

"Shout out to David and Tina - the two remarkable folks managing the kids activities. You both made a huge difference to our kids and the overall trip - thanks so much! The hotel is nice - the breakfasts aren't anything you are going to write a review about - but they are fine and varied and not too bad. The restaurant at the beachside pool is very yummy if a bit expensive. Don't miss dinner there with the trio of young ladies singing and the fireshow - lots of fun. The pools were the highlight of the trip! We were happy to be in one of the poolside family suites and it worked really well for us. The downside as others have mentioned were the folks at the front desk - perfunctorily friendly and absolutely unhelpful - don't ask them for anything, don't lose anything, don't have any special requests because it's not going to happen. They may acknowledge an issue, but they won't actually do anything about it. Having said that - it's a nice place with nice people - you'll enjoy it."

"We stayed at Avani Resort from February 9th to 13th, 2025, and had a lovely experience. The resort is beautifully maintained with stunning beach views. It is conveniently located on a lively street with plenty to do, including shops and a water taxi station within walking distance. The staff at the pool area and spa were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing experience. A word of caution regarding the WiFi: it asks for your email to connect, and after I connected, my email account was blocked, with multiple unauthorized attempts to access it. Thankfully, I had security measures in place, but I had to disconnect from the WiFi. I suggest using a SIM card for internet access instead. The buffet was good, though breakfast could use a little improvement. One small suggestion: it would be nice if there was a designated area for smokers at the rooftop. We don’t smoke, and I personally get migraines from cigarette or cannabis smoke, which is quite common in Krabi. A separate smoking area would make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Avani Resort and would happily recommend it to others."

"Our room had a plunge pool outside, great for cooling off in after the heat of the day. Room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Nice and quiet, good shower and plenty of bottled water supplied daily. The roof top pool was great and cocktails delicious "
