"Incredible Hotel based near a small village that serves the hotels guests that can be bothered to walk and experience a modicom of Thai reality...grest little bars and restaurants. Hotel itself double the price it should really cost to get from mainland to Phi Phi...guess that's the norm if you don't know Thailand. Great breakfast choices. Rooms were lovely, fancied a bath though. Venture furthur round bay by road for a more realistic hotel experience. "

"My husband and I booked this place for our honeymoon and regret not staying longer. The room we were assigned was right in front of the beach and was very peaceful. While our rooms were a little far from the reception/restaurant/stores, the resort had shuttle services that were very responsive (within 5-10 minutes upon request). We would love to stay at this resort again when we come back! Highly recommend - especially in front of the beach!"

"The hotel itself is lovely, so peaceful and the views are incredible. Nice pool and the food and drinks were excellent. The transfer by long tail boat (which you have to take to get to the resort) involved a walk of maybe 150m to the boat in low tide, with almost waist height water carrying our luggage. This was fine for us but not suitable if you don’t have great mobility. "

"The view were beautiful from our deluxe cottage. It was so peaceful and quiet. It was easy to get a longboat for a day oit on the water. Shopping was limited and the food everywhere on this part of the island was a bit tasteless. We were looking forward to the spicy and flavorful food we have come to love in Thailand. But the staff was super friwndly and helpful! They made it worth it."

"HIGHLY recommend Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum. We stayed in the deluxe sea view bungalow. This was the nicest accommodation we stayed at during our month in Asia. The rooms were CLEAN, even to my standards and the staff is so kind. The island is so quiet and peaceful, with countless restaurants nearby. "

"We reached Krabi at 2 and then we had a sunset cruise booked and due to rains we got late. We reached the villas at 9 and by the time their kitchen was shut and they had no option of any kind of food. We had paid 52,000 INR for the villa but they cared a damn for it. We were so so hungry but had to go eat at a local restaurant. That’s a different thing that food was outstanding and we enjoyed so much. The villa staff was so rude and they did not care. All they kept saying was that we came late....

"Lovely hotel. Lots of stairs to get there so beware, but I personally didn’t mind the extra exercise. Our treehouse was very wonderful and the staff were kind and helpful. Beautiful setting in Phi Phi island"

"Very private and secluded. Perfect for honeymooners. Only 1 restaurant choice but the food is good. Plates are about $7-10 usd. Drinks are $7. Not a place for solo travelers or people looking to party. "

"Too expensive for what we got. They seem to have a problem with little flies in the room and the hallway. Some dead in the room and we’re not cleaned up from previous guests. The walls to the room were thin and you could hear people walking through the hallway to their room and you could hear the street noise."

"We were placed in a brand new building they had just finished. We may have been the first to stay there. The room was clean but the door dosnt reach the floor so misquitos and other bugs can get in. They had no nets so we had to use a towel to block the bottom. Overall its a nice hotel they will take your bags from the ferry but didnt offer to help us take them back."

"Hotel has its own free longboat service to get help take you and your bags to and from the ferry. Walk to main part of town was short, only a tiny bit across the beach then on a path. Hotel room was nice. Pool area, bar area and bathrooms in need of some TLC."
