"I spent only two nights at Fort House and wished I could have stayed longer! It is located on the edge of Fort Kochi's central area, it is an oasis but still within walking distance--and there is no shortage of tuk-tuks. They are working on the road, but don't let that dissuade you--the inner courtyard garden is beautiful and the outdoor dining areas are lovely. It sits on the straight between the sea and the backwater, so I had breakfast with the birds--so peaceful. And the breakfast was among...

"Koder House was a delight in every way possible - from the kind service to spacious rooms, which included a dressing room and the palatial sitting areas. The location by the Chinese fishing nets makes it perfect on all levels. "

"This hotel is a gem. The rooms are clean, well appointed and spacious with fabulous furnishings. We ate at the restaurant which offered a range of delicious dishes and spent time around the pool. The staff are a delight, always smiling and eager to cater for every guest. The only comment i would make is that there is not much in the area, but if you're looking for a deserted beach or if you have transport, then this really isn't a problem."

"Abin at Reception was very attentive and helpful. He provided excellent service for his customer. Room was very clean. I was very pleased they didn't have cushions and bed runners on the pillows and bed because they are usually dirty and don't get gchanged / washed after every guests. Please provide tissues or serviettes in bedroom. "

"The rooms were not clean and the bed made squeaky sound and was not even. The bathroom had spider web and the pot was broken. We had a terrible experience and would not go to the property again. There were no guests in the hotel and the photos are misleading on the website. "

"A fantastic spot from which to explore the Kerala backwaters. The hotel organised a half-day Sikkara boat tour and for the remainder of our (too short) stay we relaxed by the pool and dined on the beach. Recommended!"
