"We enjoyed our stay at Beji Ayu and found it clean, spacious and reasonably convenient for walking to shops, warung and even the beach (a bit of a hike but a simple route and interesting). It was surprisingly peaceful. The outlook across the river is a bit shabby but it didn't bother us. The real treasure is the lovely staff, Henry was a legend and we were sad to say goodbye!"

"The property is aged. The rooms require some maintenance. Peeling paint, water leak in bathroom from behind wall tiles, the shower doors require some attention. The cleaning staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean. Unless you advise reception you’ll be in for breakfast daily even if it’s included in your booking, they wont have ready, breakfast we were told was 7:30 to 9:30, but most days it was from 8-8:30am. Room service varies daily, but never available after 4pm....

"You get what you paid for. On positive note .Was private safe and reasonably quite. Bedding clean changed sheets every day .Unit cleaned everyday . All essential shopping close by. "Only suitable for someone that's out all day as there is no outdoor area's-even the pool is small and cold as it never gets any sun.There is a rooster next door (not their fault,but) so you'll be woken at sunrise every day.The room's themselves are good and well equipped. The bed is huge and comfy with plenty of English speaking t.v. channels."

"This is the only hotel in South East Asia that has not supplied fresh water. Also no food available. Second floor bathroom drainage not good. WiFi spotty. One night there was a large storm.
